Rotten fascias and barge boards taken off a white rendered house in Llandogo and replaced with new decorative boards cut to match the originals, then prepped and painted.
Pull off the old guttering and you often find what you expected: fascias and barge boards quietly rotting behind it for years.
The new barge boards were made to match the ones round the rest of the house, every curve and cutout replicated, rather than plain boards slapped up in their place. The timber windows were stripped back and oiled while the scaffolding was up.
