A house on Drybridge Street with four to five feet of floodwater through the ground floor, stripped back, dried out and put back together, then fitted with a flood barrier to the front door.
The whole ground floor came out: plasterboard off, floors up, driers in for weeks. Once it was dry it was re-plastered, decorated and the kitchen refitted.
A Stormguard flood barrier was fitted to the door afterwards, so the next time the river comes up the house has a fighting chance.
